What Pittsburgh Schools Are Doing with Branding and Visual Interest

Frosted Window Film for Offices

Schools have a lot of glass creating plenty of opportunities to add something extra to the space. Instead of leaving that glass blank, why not use it as a canvas for school spirit or creative surprises?

U.S. Film Crew specializes in bringing these ideas to life. From custom logos and school colors to playful graphics, decorative window film can make a space feel more unique and connected to the people who use it.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Adding a Little Wonder at Bethel Park Elementary School

Decorative film does not always have to be about branding. Sometimes, it is simply about making a space more fun.

At Bethel Park Elementary School, we used decorative window film to bring wildlife and grass patterns into the learning spaces.

Rather than covering the glass with a standard frosted pattern, the custom design turned the windows into a playful visual element. The nature-inspired graphics added character to the space and gave students something new to discover as they moved through the building.

It was a noticeable and fun upgrade that turned ordinary glass into part of the learning environment.

Projects like this show the creative possibilities of decorative window film. The goal does not always have to be privacy or branding. Sometimes, it is simply about making a space more interesting.

School Spirit at Greensburg Salem School District

Some school windows need additional privacy, but that does not mean they have to be boring.

At Greensburg Salem School District, U.S. Film Crew installed custom window film featuring the school’s logo and design elements. Instead of using a plain privacy film, the school was able to incorporate its identity directly into the glass.

The result? Privacy with a little more school spirit.

Custom decorative film can be designed around school colors, logos, mascots, patterns, or other elements that make the space feel distinctly yours.

Branding and Privacy at the University of Pittsburgh

Sometimes, a simple pop of color is all it takes to bring school spirit into a space.

For a project at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, U.S. Film Crew incorporated Pitt’s classic blue throughout the space using decorative window film.

The result added privacy while bringing a cohesive, branded look to the interior.

This project is a great example of how window film can serve a practical purpose while also becoming an intentional part of an organization’s interior design.

Designing Decorative Film for Your Facility

When planning a custom decorative film installation, there are several things to consider.

How much privacy does the space need? Where should the design be placed? Should the logo be prominent or subtle? Are there school colors, brand elements, or other design features that should be incorporated?

And perhaps most importantly:

What would make the space more interesting?

The goal is not simply to cover the glass. It is to create a design that works with the space and the people who use it.
