U.S. Film Crew Envelopes University Building

Nationally Acclaimed University Upgrades Privacy

“Very pleased, very pleased,” university project manager Harold Major kept repeating as he described the latest project involving U.S. Film Crew and the privacy issues the university faces on a day to day basis. Exactly how do window film and privacy concerns relate? “We needed to find a security envelop which would prevent people from seeing documents on a table or information on a computer screen.” Harold has used other window film companies in the past but had been hearing good things about Glenn Yocca and his U.S. Film Crew’s work. He also connected that to a similar eavesdropping preventative film product seen in Washington D.C. The nation’s capital has placed a priority on security film and privacy issues and U.S. Film Crew is beginning to set the strategy-based installation precedent.

The university hired U.S. Film Crew to provide and install security film on an entire floor of office space where the work stations have external windows. They added to their request that a frosted film also be applied to certain areas of the floor. Many of the offices were to remain in use during then installation process so that the avoidance of noise and clutter was a primary concern.

“No complaints from anyone, I was surprised but no complaints,” said Harold after the job was complete. “Glenn or one of his crew personally stopped by each office to notify the occupants as to the exact time frame it would take to complete that section of the project.” He went on to say that it was a quality job at a fair price and completed earlier than expected. “I have been at this [project management] for 10 years with the University and I expected a longer time frame and a bigger cost.” But U.S. Film Crew was able to reduce the time frame, exceed the quality and reduce the overall cost not to mention the inherent security and privacy value of the film.

“What I liked was that they [U.S. Film Crew] had a good plan, a strategy well drawn out, and they accomplished it.”

Harold was also impressed that Glenn laid a series of samples on the actual windows, at no cost, so the decision-makers could determine which films were going to achieve their goals. “I am interested in contractors who understand customer service, follow-up business and future vision. I got that from Glenn!”
