dust off the old rubik's cube
Problem solving with a strategic plan is the difference between a color-coded completed Rubik’s cube and a dusty one sitting on the shelf with only two sides complete. U.S. Film Crew accepted a project to install and remove 500,000 square feet of window film in a major metropolitan area in New England. The job encompassed 5 large buildings and numerous barriers. “This project exemplifies our commitment to a strategic plan, understanding of the product, and the expertise needed to complete the installation,” professed USFC president Glenn Yocca.

U.S. Film Crew was contracted since the complex barriers meant meticulous project management. These barriers included a 10-inch clearance between air conditioning units and windows in many areas. This confined amount of room to work meant minimal room for error.

Adding to the complexity, two of the five buildings required full film removal before the installation process could begin. All of these factors provided a unique opportunity for U.S. Film Crew to demonstrate its high-end project management, which would include a detailed timely plan to address each stage of the removal and installation.

The project was initially slated for completion in 18 months. The building manager had arranged for technology crews to begin removing computers and desks away from the installation area and methodically putting them back after the installation was complete. U.S. Film Crew had to work fast because time lost on employee productivity per office needed to be limited.

A strategically experienced-based plan was created and the proper film, crew and timelines were set. The project called for a 2-sided mechanical attachment security film and USFC is the leader in this area. The completed job exceeded all expectations; finishing well before the deadlines, saving money both in the short run and over the long sighted view of the future. That is the ultimate benefit of this industry and choosing U.S. Film Crew: short term savings and long term stability.

Many companies do not finish the Rubik’s cube and are satisfied with only a few sides complete, yet completing it is our standard. This adds to your benefit and speaks to our capabilities.
