Installing solar film and security film are not one in the same. We came upon a project for a mental health facility on the East Coast weeks after it had been completed. Completed but certainly not successful; the film was peeling and bubbling up. The entire installation was unacceptable and did not ensure the safety and security improvements intended. Thousands of dollars had been lost, litigation had to be activated and the safety and security needs of the facility still hadn’t been met, all this due to an improper installation.
U.S. Film Crew had been hired to “redo” the project and transform the debacle into a successful project well done. I listened to the anxious facility manager’s concerns and assured him of our expertise, efficiency and excellence. “Consider it done”, I told him and set out to prove it.
In just a matter of days, my crew stripped the newly installed but fledgingly attached film and installed the proper film with the appropriate techniques. We specialize in security film installation and knew to use a 15-mil application plus reinforcing the film into the window frames using a specialized mechanical attachment system.
It was important to complete this project efficiently, effectively and with the dependable excellence we are known for. Upon completion, I could see the look of relief and satisfaction in the facility manager’s face as he realized that the safety and security needs of the building were in place. He thanked us and I thanked him for considering U.S. Film Crew.
